A Day in the Life of a Hebron Fireman’s Carnival Goer – Wednesday, June 17, 2015

Sean Streicher stopped by the Hebron Fireman’s Carnival, in Hebron, Md., to ride carnival rides with the kids. Ken Jackson, Carnival Chairman, says the equipment at the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department wouldn’t be there without this carnival. All proceeds are used to improve fire fighting activities and community projects.

The carnival started in 1926 and it has grown so much since then. The annual carnival is famous for its oyster sandwiches, funnel cakes, cotton candy, and more. There are many carnival rides for the young children as well as rides for the “big kids.” Bingo is a huge tradition at the carnival as well as many other games.

The carnival runs every Wednesday-Saturday until July 11, 2015. You can purchase an all-you-can-ride wristband or single ride tickets.
