Wrestling for a cause.
Fusion Wrestling and The Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Department will hold the first ever JessleMania on Saturday, Nov. 19 at The Chincoteague Center from 5 – 10 p.m.
Mark Bravura, owner of Fusion Wrestling, built his business on helping others. Fusion Wrestling operates out of Virginia and serves to bring great professional wrestling to the state, while partnering with organizations and charities to help raise money through various events.
“We felt it was important to do what we love and to give back to people we love as well,” Bravura says. “Every event we put on we do it in conjunction with a charity to raise funds…basically anyone you can think of trying to raise money for an organization, we can help out.”
Que JessleMania.
Bravura has friends on Delmarva —- a few friends with a friend in need. Her name is Jessi Taylor. Taylor battled brain cancer years ago and entered remission, but recently the disease has come back.
“She’s an incredibly strong woman who has been fighting cancer for a while and will continue to fight… We think it’s important for us to put this on.”
JessleMania will kick off at 5 p.m. featuring an exclusive VIP Meet & Greet from 5 – 6 p.m. with all the stars of Fusion Wrestling, followed by bell time at 6:30 p.m.
Hall of Famer and Pro-Wrestling Legend Rick “The Dragon” Steamboat, Richie Steamboat, “Punisher” Damien Martinez, “The Pain Train” Preston Quinn, as well as superstars from Fusion Wrestling & The Monster Factory, will face off during the event.
Bravura, a wrestler himself, has run the company while traveling the country, all while meeting wrestlers on the way. The wrestlers that take part in Fusion Wrestling’s events are wrestlers Bravura has met or wrestlers friends have recommended.
Although Bravura says a wrestling event like this hasn’t been held on Chincoteague in about 10 years, judging by ticket sales and sponsorship, he believes the event will do just fine.
The Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Department is the main sponsor of the event, along with Hampton Inn & Suites Chincoteague-Waterfront.
“If it wasn’t for the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Department, this event wouldn’t be happening… Christian Tarr is involved with the fire department and has been instrumental in getting this together.
VIP with Meet & Greet tickets are $20 and General Admission are $10. VIP tickets include Reserved seat, Early Entry into Meet & Greet and more. You may order tickets online at http://
