The event is free to the public, running from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The day honors the men and women who served in the U.S. armed forces.
The event will feature a variety of educational displays showcasing historic military events such as Pearl Harbor, Normandy Beach, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Students from many local schools will get an opportunity to view the displays and speak to retired U.S. soldiers, as several veterans will be sharing their memories with guests.
A special memorial service will be held for the men and women who sacrificed their lives.
Additional educational displays include more recent conflicts such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Grenada and the Cold War.
Activities will take place at the Warren L. and Charles C. Allen, Jr. CHEER Community Center. The center is located at the corner of Sand Hill Road and Route 9.
