The event, which happens from 3-6 p.m. every Friday at the Dogfish Head Brewery, features 25 vendors from the Milton Farmers’ Market, as well as live music and a festive atmosphere. Attendees can expect to find everything from locally grown watermelon and squash, to pickled treats and fresh cooked meals.
One of the market’s vendors, Rehoboth Beach-based JuiceFresh, has become a regular fixture and one of its highlights. The JuiceFresh company, which was started by David and Melissa Harrison in 2013 after they stumbled upon the juicing craze via their triathlete son, offers a variety of fresh organic cold pressed juice blends made from 100 percent raw, untreated fruits and vegetables.
“That’s what’s nice about the market, we have time to talk to people.” says Melissa Harrison, “Juices are so popular right now, but people don’t really know what they are. With cold press, it’s really different, so it’s really an educational process for people.”

You can find the Harrison’s selling flavors like Orange Crush, Green Greatness, Island Breeze, Antioxidant Blast and Verde Sol at Farmer’s Market Friday, on their website and at several other locations in the Rehoboth Beach, Baltimore and Harford County, Md. areas. In addition to containing zero sugar or added water, the Harrison’s believe their juices offer special heath benefits.
“My son is a triathlete and he started juicing and saw great results.” says Melissa. “I started with a juice cleanse and my energy went through the roof and I lost 10 pounds. After juicing twice a day for a year, we decided we wanted to share it with everyone else.”
