This post from May features a blue, Chevrolet Corvette doing burnouts onto Coastal Highway during Cruisin’ Ocean City. The driver and his Corvette became very popular on social media, and the video has over 604k views on YouTube. Driver, Matthew Huntsman, was later charged by OC Police Dept. for six traffic offenses.
2.) Dover Police Dashcam Confessionals Presents #DashCamDuet
We all remember the trending Dover Police video where Cpl. Jeff Davis sang and danced to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.” Their second video titled “#DashCamDuet”, which came out in April, was also very popular. This video features Cpl. Davis and Cpl. Stevenson singing and dancing to many popular 2015 hits. Paramore, who’s song is featured in the video, even tweeted about the video.
3.) Assateague Lifeguard Gets Kicked in Head by Wild Horse
The lifeguard in Assateague was simply trying to help keep the wild horse away from a group of beachgoers’ belongings. However, when the lifeguard started trying to scare the horse away by flapping his flippers, the horse kicked him. Assateague Island National Seashore put out a statement reminding people that the wild horses are powerful, unpredictable animals.
4.) James M. Bennett High School Staff Lip Dub 2015
In May, students at James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury, Md. created a lip dub that went viral. A month later, the staff decided they would make a lip dub of their own featuring the song “School’s Out for Summer.” Media Associate at James M. Bennett High School, Kris Quintana, said they were hoping for more views than the student lip dub video – they did just that.
