If you are wondering why all these hammocks are empty, it is not because this destination was not popular. On the last day of the festival. the Hammock Hangout shut down because the mud around these hammocks was so bad. These hammocks provide the perfect excuse to just relax when you need a break. Firefly may seem like all fun and games (well, that’s because it is), but it can get exhausting! The Woodlands saw temperatures in the high 90’s throughout the weekend and the sun alone is something that will wear you out! Add in running around from stage to stage, trying to see all your favorite bands and you will get tired and want one of these comfortable hammocks. On any given day throughout the weekend, with the exception of Sunday when this area was closed off, there were swarms of people just waiting to get on the next available hammock! If you are at The Firefly Music Festival and notice yourself getting tired out, these are a must!
