PRMC on Hypoglycemia – January 20, 2016

Wednesday on DelmarvaLife, we learned more about hypoglycemia. Diabetes Education Coordinator Susan Cottongim, RD, LDN, CDE, with Peninsula Regional Medical Center, explained hypoglycemia is when a diabetic’s blood sugar drops. She says it can drop for several reasons, including:

too much insulin in a person’s system
a person hasn’t eaten enough food
a person has been very active
