Brandy and Caroline Dunn bring bunnies in the studio.
They talk about how the heat is affecting bunnies this time of year. Brandy says the heat can kill any rabbit and that with this heat, their fur is flying everywhere.
“People think rabbits should be inside in the winter and outside in the summer,” Brandy says. “They have on fur coats year round so if it is 80 degrees, they can easily die of heatstroke. I have four industrial drum fans that are on our screened in porch for the rabbits out there and the ones inside have AC.”
Brandy and Caroline also talk about breeds of bunnies, how to care for them, and which bunnies make great pets and which do not.
