The Delaware native says her love for singing began in the seventh grade at the age of 12, when she auditioned for the All-State Choir. Melissa’s sound is a fusion of folk, alternative and a bit of country, mixed with eclectic elements of world music.
Melissa has three albums. Her third, which she recorded in Nashville, was done in conjunction with Johnny Neel of the Allman Brothers Band. Melissa said it was an amazing experience, and said it was a fitting collaboration.
