Pinch Me Therapy Dough Helps Relieve Stress
We’ve got a new way for you to get a handle on stress.
Nancy Rothner, the creator of “Pinch Me Therapy Dough,” joins us to talk about her product. The Pinch Me Therapy Dough works on a multi-sensory level. The scent triggers a response to have a full open breath, squeezing the dough brings focus to the hands, and tension is kneaded out through the finger tips.
Nancy is a clinical hypnotherapist, so she made it her mission to do something about stress.
“I’ve seen that stress is an epidemic. For more than 15 years, I’ve helped thousands of clients reduce stress levels and live a life less taxed. I’ve had the chance to work with them in the office and that has been great. But my thought has been what about all the people that aren’t coming in the office. I wanted to find a way to take what’s been most effective in office and package it in a portable container and that’s ‘Pinch Me.'”
Nancy says that when someone is stressed, the first thing that happens and your breath becomes shallow and tight. Therefore, ‘Pinch Me’ comes in all different scents. Colors are also known to have various associations such as blue is calming and purple is luxurious. She combined the scent and the color to make many different variation of ‘Pinch Me’ Therapy Dough.
Nancy says ‘Pinch Me’ has also helped soldiers. ‘Pinch Me’ has contributed to Bootsrap USA which is a company that helps soldiers with PTSD.
