Jimmy & Lisa learned how to make Panned Oysters with a show favorite, Chef Thomas O’Neil from Suicide Bridge Restaurant in Hurlock. Boy were they good! If you’d like to try it at home, here’s the recipe!
- 4Tbsp Butter
- 4Tbsp Flour
- 1 Pint of Oysters
- 1 Pint Heavy Cream
- 8oz Chicken Stock
- 2oz Dry Sherry
- 4oz Ham
- Two Slices of White Bread
- Salt & Pepper
Start by melting the butter then add the flour to make a roux. Add the cream, chicken stock and sherry and whisk until smooth. Add the oysters. Meanwhile in another pan heat the ham. Toast the white bread then top with the warm ham and finish with the creamed oysters. Salt and pepper to taste.
