Anna is from Ocean Pines, Md. and even after 60 years of being a girl scout leader, she still enjoys volunteering in her community. She is a lifetime member and is still active with local Girl Scouts doing publicity and fundraisers. Anna has always believed in the mission of Girls Scouts and wanted to help empower the girls to become strong women.
Anna says the girls shined the most in her heart and she loved working with them because it kept her young.
