“Soups for Sue” Event to Benefit The Cottage Cafe’s Soup Extraordinaire Battling Lung Cancer, and Chicken Paprika Soup Recipe
Sue Billet of Bethany Beach is battling a life-threatening disease.
She was recently diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Sue’s co-workers from The Cottage Cafe and the entire Delmarva community are rallying behind Sue. Co-owner of The Cottage Cafe, Brent Poffenberger, joins us in the studio to share Sue’s story and tell us about “Soups for Sue.”
The Cottage Cafe is donating $1 from every soup sold and they are having a “Souper Sunday” event on April 23 from 2 pm-5 pm. There will be a $10 donation at the door for the “Souper Sunday” event.
Chef Shaun Fleck from The Cottage Cafe in Bethany Beach joins us in the DelmarvaLife kitchen to make one of Sue’s favorite soups – Chicken Paprika Soup.
