Jim says make sure you recycle your old gadgets. Go to GreenerGadgets.org and it will give you a list of responsible recycling places near your location where you can recycle your gadgets.
Look for the Energy Star label when looking for “green gadgets.”
Jim says to save energy with what we already have, we can do the following:
- Unplug devices you’re not using – Get a smart power strip which shuts down the devices that do not need to be on all the time, and leaves on the ones that do need to be on at all times
- Look for innovative new devices that you can plug into the wall now and save money
