You don’t have to travel to the big city to attend a masquerade ball. There is one taking place right here on Delmarva and it benefits Delaware’s youth.
John Wellons, The President of the Boys and Girls Club in Delaware came on DelmarvaLife to discuss the upcoming Masquerade Ball at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club for a Black Tie Affair.
There will be a silent auction, a live band, and other opportunities for attendees to help raise money for the clubs across the state.
There are 41 locations across the state and they serve 3,500 kids every day.
These programs focus on youth development, primarily, to help build up the pupils to upstanding individuals.
“We serve a lot of kids who don’t always have a lot of opportunities, and the support from this program try to give them the support they need,” said Wellons.
The event will be held on Saturday, March 11 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at $125 a ticket. Purchase tickets here.
