Mark Johnson, owner of That Granite Place in Bridgeville, Del., explained to us that they make sure that every slab that comes into their yard is inspected thoroughly before it even makes it off of the truck.
He ensures that he and his team spend a lot of personal time with each buyer, home owners and businesses, to get a complete idea of what they want out of the project. They discuss colors, what the buyers influences are, how much the counter top will be used, and more to help find the perfect product.
Each slab of granite, quartz, and marble are first put through machines and then they are each finished by hand.
Johnson went on to explain that the trends in counter tops follow home-shows, and that light colors and whites are popular granite choices right now. He says that quartz is also becoming increasingly popular but granite will always be a great choice.
