‘Wear Red Day’ – American Heart Association
Sean Streicher talks with Lori Lee, an American Heart Association Board Member, to learn more about the idea behind ‘Wear Red Day.’
Lori says it is an awareness campaign. She said she wants to get people talking about heart health and teach people about their own cardiovascular health.
Lori’s father passed away from a heart attack and she has been a nurse for many years where she has seen the effects of cardiac disease. “I wanted to take the opportunity and use the American Heart Association to get involved and spread the message to a lot of people,” Lori says.
