Lori was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in February of 1994. She and her family have been living with this condition for over two decades. She shared her story with Jimmy and Lisa today and urges, this diagnosis has changed her life, yes, but it will not get her down. Lori is able to walk with a cane. She says she has good days and bad days, but takes each day hour by hour. Also, she is able to volunteer with the Berlin Visitor Center.
If you’d like to support “Lori’s Angels” at the local Walk MS events here on Delmarva, there will be a walk in Ocean City on Saturday, April 11 and there will be another walk in Salisbury on Sunday, April 12. Walk MS works toward a world free of MS.
If you’d like to learn more about MS, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke provides plenty of detailed information as well as other resources for you and your loved ones.
