Owner of the Delaware Self-Defense Academy, Professor Ronnie Wuest and 102.5 WBOC’s Corey Phoebus give us a demonstration.
Hundreds of people are expected to step out and step up to raise awareness of the ninth leading cause of death in the United States. The 10th Annual Southern Delaware Kidney Walk is coming up. We learn more about how an event like this really does make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease and how you can help too. The walk is Sunday, April 29 at Cape Henlopen State Park. Check in begins at 10 am and the walk starts at 11 am.

In 2003, British actors Helen Mirren and Julie Walters received glowing reviews for the movie “Calendar Girls.” In 2010, the comedy was adapted for the stage and quickly became an overnight hit in the UK. This weekend, you can see it on a stage right here on Delmarva with a production by the Community Players of Salisbury.
