Mike, a native of Virginia Beach and Dianne, a true southern-belle from North Carolina, had a dream of one day owning their own business. Little did they know that vision would be owning a furniture store that would transform the furniture buying for consumers on Delmarva, an area they have called home for more than 30 years now.
So with that desire of owning a business, they started praying and seeking God’s will.
As a result of that prayer they opened That* Furniture Store in October of 2005.
They sell High Quality “NEW” Furniture but at a discounted price and some times below wholesale pricing. How? By selling showroom samples, scratch n dent, discontinued, and one-of-a-kind pieces at 50-80% off retail…. that’s how! And, THAT*s exactly what they’ve been doing now for 15 years.

We have always been a One-of-a-Kind store until 2014. We decided we wanted to offer our customers more choices. So we have added our own Custom Shop line made in North Carolina. You have 150 fabrics and frames you can choose from, as well as a one year warranty. Schedule your appointment via email today.
