Hello Delmarva! My name is April Brilliant, and I’m your host mid-days from 10-3 pm. I am proud to be a “from here.” I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Salisbury University. I’ve been in the radio industry on and off since 1995. My first radio gig was in news. My real radio story began in country radio as co-host of a morning show. Later, I had my own mid-day show, and served as promotions director. I was very honored to be voted “Best Radio Personality on the Eastern Shore” in 2010 by Metropolitan Magazine. I’ve been on vacation for the last four years!
My family is very important to me, and we stay pretty busy. The weekends are usually full of kids activities. Yes, I am both a soccer mom and a dance mom!
I also love to singing, traveling, volunteering and entertaining at our home. We love to have friends over for barbeques and game nights. I love anything Disney and enjoy going on historical tours (especially ghost tours) when we travel.
I live in the area with my husband Denis (he’s like the Magnum of the Eastern Shore minus the mustache…He is ALWAYS in a Hawaiian shirt from spring through fall). I’m blessed to have two incredible parents. We have two amazing children, Stephanie and Donovan., that I love with all my heart. I’m excited that my kids may actually think I’m cool now, since I’ll be playing music they love.
